This is my 7th year in the classroom and my passion continues to grow! I have both a Bachelor and Master's degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. During my 6th year of teaching, I began my journey to become a National Board Certified Teacher, and I just found out in November that I passed {I still do not think that reality has set in.}!!! BEST NEWS EVER!!!
During this school year [2014-2015], I had the opportunity to move into a general education classroom from 4th & 5th grade Special Education. After much thought and consideration, I felt like it was a change that I needed to make. I am so excited that I took this position and am able to spend everyday with my 3rd grade babies! They are just the sweetest things and LOVE to give hugs....which are added bonuses to my day!
Blogging is something that I have always wanted to do, but have never taken the initiative to do it...SO, HERE I GO....I hope that you will follow me and my blogging journey!
